This past week Daddy, Brody, and Brynn all have had colds. Brody spiked a 102.5 fever Friday morning, so we took him into Urgent Care that afternoon. He was diagnosed with an ear infection and was started on antibiotics. We took Brynn in too for her horrible cough, but they said hers was just viral. Brody gave me quite the scare when we got home from the clinic. His fever spiked to 103.5. I gave him Motrin and Tylenol and immediately put him in the tub. I was crying while I was trying to get him cooled down and poor Brody was shivering and he looked at me and said, "Mommy, you crying. Mommy, you crying." I couldn't believe as horrible as he felt, he was worried about me crying. Other than them having colds, they are doing quite well. I am proud to say that they both know most of their shapes and we are working on colors. As much as I try, neither of them will count for me. I know that they know how to count, because the other week Brody was scolding Brynn and I hear him say, "Brynn, 1...2...3"! They both are talking in full sentences and talk a lot, especially Brynn. She seems to always be talking and tells the funniest stories! She is still very attached to her blanket and would drag it everywhere with her, if I would let her. Brody has been attached to his bolts (yes, metal bolts) that he has carried around for a couple weeks now. I can't even tell you how many times we have turned this house upside down looking for his bolts. B and B seem to get busier and busier the older they get. The other night we went for a walk and they both wanted to run instead of ride in the wagon and they both ran almost a whole mile! I have started running too with Truman. I told Bryan that I need to get in better shape if I am going to be chasing after them all summer!
We took these pics last night. I had to laugh when I finally found Brody. I thought that he had gotten out of his crib. This is classic Brynn sucking on her two middle fingers with her security blanket:)
