Pre-K Graduation

B and B have graduated Pre-K from Appletree Academy! They had a really nice graduation ceremony. They played a video of the graduates with pictures taken throughout the year that was really neat. I am so happy to have a copy to remember this fun time. Brody didn't behave very well during graduation and got his flag taken away by the director before he even got to sing the song the flag was for. He really didn't sing any of the songs and couldn't stop moving around and even got moved to a different spot:( Brynn did great as usual! They are very excited to start Kindergarten, especially Brynn. She has asked me numerous times when Kindergarten is going to start:) The director told me later that in her 26 years of doing this that she has never had a student lose a tooth at graduation before Brynn. First Tooth Fairy Visit

My baby girl lost her first tooth a little over a week ago at their Pre-K graduation. We knew her tooth was really loose before we went to their graduation, but Brynn already had on a white dress and we didn't want to get her dress dirty trying to get her tooth out before we left. Bryan and I were waiting for the graduation to start and their teacher, Mrs. Gallo, came up to us holding a bag. She said, "Guess what this is?" She said her tooth fell out when they were getting them ready in their cap and gowns. Brynn was so excited about loosing her tooth because one of her best friends at school has already lost 4 teeth. She woke me up around 6:15 the next morning to show me the envelope the Tooth Fairy left her. I think she was more excited that a fairy visited her than the $5 she got:) Brody asks me all the time to check his teeth to see if any of them are loose. He doesn't have any loose teeth yet, not even his front teeth that he has tried to knock out twice. He seems so bummed about it, so sometimes I lie and tell him that some of them are loose. He gets a big grin on his face and make a fist and pulls his arm down and says, "Yes!" He sure doesn't like to be outdone by his sister!

Star of the Week

Several weeks ago, Brody was Star of the Week in their Pre-K class. It was really cute to watch him talk about the things that were really important to him (a lot about dinosaurs). Daddy was unable to come to his celebration, but came home from work the next night. The first thing Brody did when we got home from the airport was put on his star necklace and crown to show his Daddy:) He was so proud! Every time I look at the question sheet he filled out, I smile at the "e" in Conner. He is too funny!
