1st/2nd Grade Basketball

Brynn had her first basketball practice the other night. She was so excited! She had been wanting to play basketball for years and now she is finally old enough to be on a team! Brody was supposed to wrestle this Fall, but decided he didn't want to after Brynn told him he'd have to wear a leotard:) Long story short, we missed the deadline to register him for basketball:(

Birthday Skating Party!

7th Birthday!

This year, B and B's birthday was on a Friday. It was also their class Halloween party day too. Mom and I surprised them with balloons, donuts, and presents at breakfast. Then we went and had lunch with them at school and went to their class parties. After school, we took them to Oak Park mall. Brynn got her very first American Girl doll (Julie)! Brody chose a Jurassic World Lego set from the Lego Store. It was a busy, but exciting and fun day for all of us!

7 Year Doctor's Appt.

This year, B and B had their 7 year check-up early on October 22nd. Brody weighed 59 lbs. (83%) and was 50 inches (75%) tall. Brynn weighed 71 lbs. (99%) and was 52 inches tall (99%). They both received flu shots at their appt. Brody had an allergic reaction to his flu shot. He scratched his arm and it became infected. He ended up having cellulitis in his arm and was put on Bactrim. Thankfully, his arm started looking and feeling better after a couple doses of the antibiotic.
