First Teeth Lost!

Brody finally lost his first tooth on August 24th! He had been looking forward to this day for a long time! It had been around 15 months since Brynn lost her first tooth, so he was really excited! The Tooth Fairy left him a note and $2, so he was happy! The next day, he lost another tooth! He told me he would really like it if the Tooth Fairy would give him $3 for his second tooth, so he could have $5. The next day, he woke up to another note and $3! It was really sweet to see his excitement! Behind the second tooth he lost, his new tooth was about 1/3 of the way already in. We probably should have worked a little harder getting those teeth out sooner. So far, Brynn has lost 8 teeth and Brody has lost 2.

 

U7 Fall Soccer

B and B have had 2 games already this season! They both are playing with the same teams they played with last season. This year, they are finally old enough to play 6 vs. 6 soccer (5 players and 1 goalie). It has been nice getting to see them play as 1 team instead of being divided into 2 teams (aggressive/non-aggressive). The fields are bigger now too and B and B seem to get a little more worn out!

Football Jamboree

Brody had his Football Jamboree a couple weeks ago. The first play of the game, Brody scored a touchdown! It was a lot of fun watching his team play! Go Green Beast Packers!

 

 

 

1st Grade

B and B started 1st grade last week! They were so excited to go back to school and see everyone! They have 5 1st grade classes this year with 20 students in each class. Brody's teacher is Mrs. Mcanulty and Brynn's teacher is Mrs. Lerno. Brody had Mrs. Lerno for Kindergarten last year. She moved up to teach 1st grade since they needed 2 additional teachers this year for their grade (Mrs. Devine moved down also from 2nd grade this year).

First Football Practice

Brody had his first flag football practice (practicing drills) yesterday at LSNHS. He said that he liked it, but his feet were hurting so bad. I took off his new cleats and he had blisters on both heels:( This week, he starts practices with his team twice a week along with soccer practice on Fridays. He already eats all the time, so I can't even imagine the amount of food he's going to start eating with all these practices!
