Happy Valentine's Day!

B and B were pretty excited about Valentine's Day this year! Brody picked out the exact same dinosaur valentines as he chose last year. Brynn couldn't decide between Monster High and Disney Princesses and actually wanted them both. However, she was easily persuaded to get Barbie instead when she found out there were tattoos in the Barbie valentines. They had a party at preschool that day and were so excited to show us all their treats!

Christmas 2012

We had a very busy holiday season this year. Starting in the middle of December until the New Year, we had been moving into a new house. It was definitely not the most ideal time to move, but that was how it worked out. We did manage to take a break from moving to celebrate Christmas with both sides of the family in Maryville and Knob Noster. Santa came to our house on Christmas Eve while we were at church. Brody's big present this year was a wooden train set and table. Brynn's big present this year was more chairs for her table and a doctor's set. B and B were a lot of fun this year throughout the holidays! They are so curious and excited about everything, especially Brynn. I used to be able to "make stuff up" to satisfy her curiosity, but she is too smart for that at 4 years old. Believe me, she'll "call you out" if she knows what you are saying is B.S.! Brody is just the opposite. If he asks you a question, all he wants is an answer and he's usually fine with whatever you tell him:) Unfortunately, we only took a few pictures of B and B opening presents at our house this year.

 

                   

 

 

 

Christmas Recital

Brynn had her first dance recital last Thursday at Sni-A-Bar Elementary in Grain Valley. Her dance class performed a tap routine to Frosty the Snowman. I was anxious to see if she would actually dance or if she would act shy and just stand there. Fortunately, she danced and did a great job! We were so proud of her and she looked so cute!
