Brynn danced in Oktoberfest last night with her tap/jazz class. She was the cutest 'lil duck we've ever seen! She did a great job, especially since she had had only three practice classes before the festival. We were so proud of her! Brody started taking a dance class this month too. He is taking tumbling (his class wasn't in the festival). After weeks of asking, we finally let him take a class. He is doing really well and seems to enjoy it!

Pre-K
B and B started Pre-K last week at Appletree Academy. We really didn't talk a lot about going to school or a lot about how this was a different school than they had attended the last two years. I realized we should have talked about it more when Brynn and I had this conversation:
The day before school, Brynn asked me who was going to help her down from the wagon. Completely confused, I asked her what she was talking about. She said she wanted to know who was going to help her down from the wagon when they go see the apple trees. I told her that Appletree was the name of her new pre-school and that they weren't actually going to go see apple trees. Still wondering about the wagon, I asked her about it. She told me that when Caillou went to see the apple trees, he rode on a wagon:)
After school, they both told me that they liked Pre-K. Brynn even came out of school holding hands with another girl in her class:) Their teacher, Mrs. Gallo, called that afternoon to see what they had thought/said about school. She told me that they had a good day and that she wanted me to know that she thought Brynn was very artistic and that she had asked for extra time to work on her picture in class. I was very impressed that she called to check on them. I am so happy that they like their new school and teacher, however I'm a little sad knowing this is my last year having them home with me:(
