Texas Vacation- Part 1

A couple of weeks ago, Bryan had to do some training in Houston for his job. So, G-ma and I decided to drive down with B and B and have a mini vacation. B and B did really well being in the car for over 12 hours. We stayed several days in Houston and took B and B to the Houston Zoo, Houston Children's Museum, and to the Downtown Aquarium. Then we went to Galveston and stayed at a resort in Moody Gardens. The resort had an awesome water park, so we spent a lot of time playing in the water. We took B and B to the beach for the first time! Brody loved it and kept going out further and further so he could get to the big waves! B and B had a lot of fun collecting seashells along the beach. We also went to a dinosaur exhibit, Dinosaurs Alive, while staying in Moody Gardens. Brody is a huge dinosaur fan, so that was really fun to get to take him to that. Next, we went to San Antonio to show G-ma the Riverwalk. The drive home was definitely much longer than the drive down. It was a great mini vacation, but it is always nice to get home.

Dance Recital

Brynn had her dance recital last weekend. Her preschool class performed two dance routines. The first routine was ballet to the song Somewhere Out There. The second routine was jazz to Hula Rock. When we were driving to the recital, I was talking to Brynn about performing. She said, "Mom, Ms. Bridgitte wants me to hard shake, but Mommy I can't shake it any harder than I already do!" Too funny! She did great, especially on the second routine! Brynn, we are so proud of you and you are becoming a great 'lil dancer!
