Birthday Party

Our neice, Avorey, celebrated her 8th birthday a couple of weeks ago with a pool and pizza party. B and B were so excited about the party! They had a great time and really enjoyed seeing their cousins!

Disney on Ice: Rockin' Ever After

A couple of weeks ago, we went to see Disney on Ice with my friend, Corey, and her daughter, Lucy. B and B had seen every movie that was in the show: The Little Mermaid, Tangled, Brave, and Beauty and the Beast, so they really enjoyed it! Brody thought it was pretty cool when Merida, from Brave, shot her arrow and when it hit the bullseye it split the target in half and sparks flew. Brynn said her favorite part was The Little Mermaid. It was a really great show and we all had a good time!

 

Soccer

Brody started soccer a few weeks ago. He missed the age cutoff with the LSSA to play on an actual team, so he goes every Thursday night and works on skills with players from Avila University. It's not as fast paced as he would like, but I think he enjoys it. At the time of enrollment, Brynn said she didn't want to play, but I think she is wishing that she would've played now. This fall, they will be old enough to play on a team, so we'll see if they both want to play again.
