T-Ball

B and B started playing T-ball (their first sport) earlier this month. It has been very fun to watch them play and improve throughout the session! Brynn is actually a pretty good 'lil player and tries to do whatever you ask of her. She looks pretty cute playing with her princess glove and is a good hitter. I have had a couple people tell me that she's "a natural". She seems to like it, although snack time is probably her favorite part! T-ball is a little too slow moving for Brody. He can be a good player when he wants to be. He's had a few collisons on the field going after balls that were not "in his area." For some reason, he seems to be on the ground a lot. I don't think T-ball is his sport, but maybe he will enjoy it more when he is a little older and his attention span is longer!

Mini Vacation- The Magic House

On our last day of vacation, we went to The Magic House- St. Louis Children's Museum. The Magic House is a hands-on learning museum. We LOVED this place! B and B said that this was their favorite place we went to on vacation (along with going to the pool every afternoon)! We would love to go back again!

    
                                  

 

Mini Vacation- Grant's Farm

On our second day of vacation, we went to Grant's Farm. Grant's Farm is the historical home of Ulysses Grant and the ancestral home of the Busch family. We took a tram ride around the 281 acre wildlife preserve. The farm was very beautiful and peaceful. B and B enjoyed seeing all the different animals and feeding the goats and llamas. Bryan and I really enjoyed Grant's Farm, especially the Bauernhof.

Mini Vacation- St. Louis Zoo

We took a mini vacation to St. Louis over Memorial Day weekend. We visited the St. Louis Zoo, Grant's Farm, The Arch (we decided not to actually go up since it was so busy), and The Magic House-St. Louis Children's Musuem. On our first day of vacation, we went to the zoo. We really enjoyed the zoo, especially the 4D Motion Simulator and the Stringray Exhibit. We all thought it was really cool getting to pet the stringrays!
