Practicing Writing

Last month, Brynn wrote her name for me for the first time! I thought she did a great job, especially for not even being 3 1/2 yet! As for Brody, he does not want to write his name for me...yet!

Bounce N Around

Today, we took B and B to play at Bounce N Around (indoor inflatable center). B and B had so much fun playing on all the different inflatables! They also played air hockey for the first time and loved it! They have a list of record holders on the wall there for kids who have the fastest time for going through one of the inflatables. The inflatable consists of going through a maze/obstacle course, climbing up a wall, and going down the slide. Brody beat the current record holder in his age group by around 4 seconds! It was pretty cool to see his name up on the wall!

Easter

We celebrated Easter this year in Maryville. Peter Cottontail (Easter bunny) actually came to our house on Friday night since B and B were spending the night at G-ma's house Saturday night. B and B had a lot of fun playing outside on Easter! Uncle Mike brought a Little Tikes 4 wheeler for them to ride. This was the first time they had gotten to ride on one and they loved it, especially Brody! He drove that 4 wheeler around until the battery died! They loved the Easter egg hunt too! While we were hiding eggs in the yard, John found a snake. Daddy caught it to let B and B pet it. Thankfully, it was just a baby snake! We had a lot of fun with B and B celebrating Easter!

Easter Fun!

We had a great day today! We went to Bass Pro Shop to see Peter Cottontail and to do the Easter egg hunt. I had to laugh when B and B recognized where we were going and asked if we were going to Santa Clause's house! Brody went right up to the Peter and gave him a hug, but Brynn was a little shy. Then we came home and decorated Easter eggs. Brody picked out a "jungle safari" kit and Brynn picked out a "Disney princess" kit. They are so excited for Easter next weekend, especially Brynn! She can't wait to wear her Easter dress!
