The Legends

We went to the Legends of Village West today to go to the Nike Store and to the T-Rex Cafe. B and B have went through a growth spurt and have outgrown the shoes we bought for them last summer. They wear a size 10 now! Brody is really into dinosaurs (and airplanes) these days, so we decided to take them to the T-Rex Cafe. I had to laugh when we walked through the front door and a huge dinosaur started making noises and Brody asked Daddy to pick him up:) They both loved the cafe and really enjoyed watching the big fish tanks!

Playing Dress Up

Brody refused to play dress up. He did want me to take a picture of him with his airplanes though.

I wanted to get a picture of him pushing his semi down the hallway, but he got really mad at me for trying to take more pictures of him. This is a picture of him and his temper...

Family Walks

We have been taking advantage of this mild January weather and spending as much time as we can outside. I try to walk Truman everyday and exercise B and B as often as I can. We usually go on a 30 minute walk with me pushing them in the stroller for the first mile and then I let them out and they run the last mile. Today, we stopped halfway through our walk and played at the park. They ran a lot all over the park. When we got back closer to home, they both wanted Daddy to carry them on his shoulders. Brynn asked first, so this was the compromise:)

Breckenridge-New Year's 2011

Bryan and I took a ski trip to Breckenridge this year over New Year's. We spent the first night in Denver/Parker visiting some of our friends. It had been several years since they moved to Colorado, so it was great to get to see them and to meet their kids! The next day we headed to our resort in Breckenridge. Unfortunately, we woke up Saturday morning to light snow, 100mph winds, and a town that was 2/3 without power. We were really disappointed that we couldn't go skiing that day. On Sunday, we finally got to go ski and had a great time! I didn't remember Bryan being such a good skier though! It was great to get away and spend some time together, but we sure missed B and B. A HUGE thank you to G-ma and Fred for taking such good care of them. They had a great time! Also, a thank you to Grandma Madden for watching Truman. Truman was so mad at us for leaving him, but he soon forgave us:)
