New Beds

This weekend, we finally moved B and B out of their cribs and into big beds. We also moved Brody into the old toyroom, so now they have their own rooms too. Brynn chose princess bedding, of course, and I have had a lot of fun making her "new" room girly. Brody chose Spiderman bedding, or "Stiderman", as he calls it. He has a new interest in "stiders" and webs lately. He has spent a lot of time in his new room this weekend playing with his trains and tracks. We think they are both enjoying having their own space!

First Dentist Appointment

Last Monday, B and B had their first dentist appointment. It took Brody two tries to let the dentist look in his mouth. He decided that it was ok after seeing Brynn get right up in the seat and open her mouth for the dentist to check her teeth. Dr Lischwe said that their teeth looked great and sharp! Her only suggestion was to start working on getting Brynn to stop sucking on her fingers. It is affecting her tongue movement when she swallows. Hopefully, if we can get her to stop sucking her fingers before she gets her permanent teeth in, we could possibly avoid braces in the future. We think that going to the dentist was a positive experience for them and they enjoyed getting to pick out new toothbrushes. They also got free kiddie cones from Dairy Queen for being such good patients!
