Cars 2
We took B and B to the movies for the first time today to see Cars 2. They behaved ok during the movie, but I had hoped they would have behaved better. Fortunately, we were 1 of only 3 families there. They almost made it through the whole 2 hour movie except for the last few minutes when Brynn told us that she had to go potty. Of course, then Brody said he had to go potty too. So, that was the end of that.

We hope everyone had a great 4th of July! We had a pretty quiet 4th hanging out at home since Bryan had to work that night and I had to work the next day. Grandma Farnan and John came down that day and we grilled out and shot off a few fireworks. Brody loved the fireworks! We had to watch him pretty close because he would actually get too close sometimes. Brynn was almost terrified of the fireworks this year. She tolerated snap pops, smoke bombs, and snakes, but that was about it. Anytime we did anything else, she would cry and want to hide inside:( We spent this past weekend at Stockton Lake again. We went to a different beach this time and B and B had a lot of fun running along the beach playing in the water. Brynn became the "welcoming committee" and greeted all new people that came to the beach with little kids. She is so social! She really loved the water this time and would actually go out in the water and play. She even was showing off to everyone saying "watch me" as she would attempt to go under water. Brody spent a lot of his time running around and chasing butterflies:) We made several bonfires while we were there and B and B always enjoy cooking on the fires. They are very good helpers bringing wood to Daddy to put in the fire. Brynn told me today while we were packing to leave that she was just going to stay at the lake house:)
