Feeling a Little Better!

The Cold Bug Has Landed at Our House

We started our week off today by going to the doctor's office. We all have been fighting colds for about a week now, so I decided enough was enough and Bryan and I went to the doctor this morning. Sure enough, we both have sinus infections. We started antibiotics, so hopefully we will be feeling better soon and able to breath through our noses again. I am debating on taking the twins to the doctor too. They have been having congestion and runny noses. However, they are eating well and having plenty of wet/dirty diapers, so I'm going to wait it out another day. Since we haven't been feeling well, we have been pretty much staying at home. We do have a lot planned for next weekend though. I am happy to say that we are going stroller shopping! The twins are getting way too heavy to lug around in their carseats anymore, especially if you have them both by yourself. Plus, we are going to do some clothes shopping. They are out growing everything so quickly! We hope everyone stays healthy and has a good week:) We also want to wish Grandma Madden Happy Birthday!!

Bath Time!

What a Great Week!

We had such a great week! Bryan and I had a great time at the MU/KU game Monday night. We forgot how much fun it is to go to basketball games! Thank you Grandma Madden for babysitting. On Saturday, I woke up to two dozen roses, so I was feeling pretty special:) Bryan and I went to dinner at the Marada inside of the Bass Pro Shop for Valentine's Day. I really enjoyed watching all the fish swim around in that giant aquarium. I also tried mahi mahi for the first time. Sadly, I am just not a seafood person, but it was fun trying something new. Then we met up with all of Bryan's family and celebrated Jason's birthday. It is always very entertaining for me to listen to drunk people attempt to karoke! Thank you Grandma Farnan for babysitting. The twins are doing well and getting so big! Brody is actually wearing a 9 months outfit today. I had to adjust the carseats this weekend to a bigger size and took out the head rests. Time is going a little faster than I would like:( Brody laughed Friday night for the first time playing pat-a-cake, which is very strange because he has never liked playing pat-a-cake before. Maybe, he just thought I looked funny! Hopefully, Brynn will giggle soon, but it is going to take a lot more effort to get her to giggle. That girl is moody! Bryan tells me she comes by that honestly:)

We hope everyone had a great weekend! We really enjoyed the beautiful weather this weekend. On Saturday, we took the twins to get their pictures taken. Brynn did not want to cooperate at all! We didn't get any pictures of them smiling. Bryan and I decided that our regular photographer spoils us because she would have kept taking pictures until she knew we had plenty to choice from. Oh well, we plan to get pictures taken every three months, so hopefully we have better luck next time. We also got a chance to take the twins and Truman to the doggie park on Saturday. They really like being carried around in their baby harnesses. Tomorrow Bryan and I are heading to Columbia for the MU/KU basketball game. MIZZOU-RAH!!! (Thank you Grandma Madden for babysitting!)
